Tea Blends

I believe in the healing power of a nice cup of tea. Here, I will post tea blends I find or make. Each recipe makes ~4 cups (around 24 oz or 709 ml) Enjoy!

Fairy Tea by Ann Moura (I've used this in ritual and out. Tastes great and somehow relaxes while stimulating.)
3 tsp black tea
1/2 tsp chamomile
1 tsp dandelion root
1/2 tsp elder flower
1/2 tsp hops
1/2 tsp mugwort
1/2 tsp raspberry leaf
1 1/2 tsp rose hips

Steep ~5 minutes. I recommend sweetening with about a teaspoon of sugar per cup, as the mugwort is a little bitter.

Relaxation Tea (Great tea for getting to sleep or deep relaxation.)
2 1/2 tsp green tea
1 tsp chamomile
1 tsp elder flower

Steep no longer than 3 minutes. Better if you leave the flowers in a bit longer but remove the tea after 2 minutes. This tea doesn't really need sweetening, though if you must, a little sugar goes a long way.

Stimulating Tea (A) (For those of you who like light flavors)
2 tsp dried lavender flower
2 tsp dried peppermint leaves

Steep for as long as you want, at least 5 minutes. Oh boy, does this tea stimulate. I made it while writing a paper, then couldn't get to sleep for hours afterward. And, I didn't actually notice the effects. Not jittery like caffeine.

Stimulating Tea (B) (Like a punch in the throat, but gets the job done)
3 tsp black tea
1 tsp dried rosemary

Steep no longer than 5 minutes. Believe me. This tea is warming and spicy, with enough energy to get you through anything. The downside is it's like fire: hard to contain. Try it when you don't really need to focus, but make sure to have something(s) to do.
